Overview of the Exhibition

Portugal decorative tile "Azulejo" with bright blue coloring on a white background. Haru Ishii, a sculptor who traveled to Portugal to learn traditional techniques, is fascinated by its beauty, and continues to create objects using azulejo with the unique sensibilities of Japanese people. How does the old decorative tiles become contemporary art that colors the space? I will keep it secret through the latest work.
