Group use

We will accept explanations on a first-come, first-served basis under the conditions 1 to 6 below.

●Please be sure to check the following information before applying.
●Commentary volunteer staff of our museum will respond.
●The explanation is for high school students and above.

●Please check the following 1 to 6, and if you are a group that meets the conditions, please apply from the following.
●We will refuse to respond to applications that do not meet the conditions.

1. Number of people who can respond

●Participants is a visiting group of 10 to 40 people including lead.
＊For overseas visitors, up to 20 people need Participants and 1 interpreter per 10 people are required.
＊Groups of less than 10 people and groups of more than 40 people are not eligible, so please come by free tour.

2. Response content and time frame

●This is an explanation of "permanent exhibition".

●There are two types: "Normal 90-minute commentary" and "Short version 60-minute commentary".
<Time frame of each day>
90 minutes explanation: Morning / 10:00 to 11:30 pm / 13:30 to 15:00
60 minutes explanation: Morning / 10:00 to 11:00 or 10:30 to 11:30 pm / 13:30 to 14:30 or 14:00 to 15:00

3. Day of the week

●Only Wednesday and Thursday will be available. (except for holidays)
＊2024/5/1, 5/2, 8/14, 8/15, 12/25, 12/26, 2025/1/8 and 1/9 are not supported.

4. Commentary fee

●Apart from Admission, a commentary fee of 1,000 yen (tax included) per staff member will be charged.

●The maximum response for one staff member is limited to 20 people, and up to 2 staff members can respond at once.
Example 1: A group of 15
Since there are less than 20 people, one commentary staff member (explanatory fee of 1,000 yen is required)
Example 2: 23 groups
Since there are more than 20 people, 2 comment staff members (explanatory fee 2,000 yen is required)

5. Application deadline

●Please apply by "until the 1st of the previous month before the visit date".
Example 1: If your visit date is 9/1, please apply by 8/1.
Example 2: If your visit date is October 22, please apply by September 1.

6. Supported language

●"Japanese only."
＊If you are an overseas visitor, please make sure to arrange an interpreter with an upper limit of 10 people per person.
＊"If there are 11 or more people, two interpreters are required (up to 20 people)."

●Please apply at least 10 days before your visit. We will send you a notice of completion within one week of your application.
●Please apply for groups of 40 or more from here.
●In the museum, you will be able to listen to the permanent exhibition guide on your smartphone, so please use it. (Details are here.)

●This is a free tour without any response.
●Please inform the reception desk when you visit us that you are visiting. At that time, please fill out the form and make it free of charge in Admission.
