"Mianan" is the only existing teahouse built by Sen no Rikyu and is one of the four national treasure teahouses currently only four. Due to the cracks in some of the clay walls caused by the Northern Osaka Earthquake that occurred in June 2018, the first time in 23 years was restored. This book consists of photographs carefully taken by Naoko Tamura, a photographer living in Kyoto and active in Japan and overseas, and completed photographs by Taizo Furukawa. Includes texts and drawings written by Myoki Iosumi and experts, as well as a dialogue between Masao Nakamura and Mitsuyoshi Saito held in 2014.
