At the museum, volunteers help support the museum, such as exhibition commentary, regular maintenance of collections, workshop Subsidized by, etc.

  • I want to convey to many people the fun of carpentry tools and old architecture!
  • I want to make the most of my experience in architecture, woodworking, and metalworking!
  • I want friends to talk about carpentry tools and woodwork!

Those who have registered as volunteers have the following benefits.

  • Admission to the museum is free!
  • You can give priority to seminars organized by the museum!
  • You can use Workshop Room facilities for free! (Weekdays only, reservation required)

Even if you have never participated in volunteer activities or are not familiar with tools, we have set up opportunities for training and have a program so that you can gradually get used to it.

*Workshop volunteers are Participants who are accustomed to handling carpentry tools and woodworking.

Commentary Volunteer

Explanation Volunteer We are helping you explain the exhibition to visitors. Why don't you enjoy the fun of learning with those who come to the museum specializing in carpentry tools?

Care volunteers

We will help you care for the collection, mainly carpentry tools from the museum, such as rust removal of knives, wiping oil, etc.

Workshop Volunteer

In addition to woodworking experiences such as "A Touch of Woodworking" and "Carpentry Tool Challenge!" in Workshop Room, the museum, workshops such as summer vacation children's experience classes, business trips to elementary schools, etc. Why don't you share the joy of manufacturing with the participants?
