Higashi Honganji Temple has stunning sculptures made by one of the nation's leading sculptors who rushed from Owari, Kyoto, Inami, etc. during the Meiji era. Above all, Inami's sculptors are very active, such as the chief sculpture of the Higashi Honganji Temple reconstruction project. A modern Inami sculptor who inherits the thoughts of his predecessors will show you a number of sculptures at Higashi Honganji Temple. This guided tour will be accompanied by Buddhist monk of Sanomune Otani school (Higashi Honganji Temple), and you will be able to hear stories from the perspective of Buddhist monk.
*This tour is an event related to the exhibition "Cave Inami Sculpture Story".
