Higashi Honganji Temple is decorated with stunning sculptures by one of the nation's leading sculptors who rushed from Owari, Kyoto, Inami, etc. during the Meiji era. Among them, Inami's sculptor has been very active, including serving as the chief sculpture of the Higashi Honganji Temple reconstruction project.
