Overview of the Exhibition

In the winter of last year, we met a single zelkova tree that was destined to be cut down after finishing its role.
Normally, it may have been incinerated as it is, or it may have been finely crushed as fuel chips. However, the encounter puts a life in a single tree as a new role, and the story continues.
The members of the one-leg exhibition are involved in all processes from logging to sawmilling and drying, and once distributed to each workshop, but they change their form as various woodwork such as tables, stools, and children's chairs and gather again and line up at the venue Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum (Kobe).
Since 2019, under the slogan "While there is a tree there", we have been focusing on local timber cut down for various reasons in Hyogo Prefecture, but this time we will be further involved in one tree and work on production .
Please take a look at the continuation of the story of the tree at the venue, along with comparing the sitting of the new chair held every year.
