An indispensable grindstone for carpenter Maintaining Tools. At present, artificial whetstones are popular, but it is said that there is nothing better than the natural finishing whet "Todo" that has been mined in the Tamba Mountains, mainly in Kyoto since ancient times. In addition, since the performance of tools is directly linked to the efficiency of work, it is said that "tools are not purchased from tool shops and used by carpenters themselves."
In this exhibition, we will introduce about 19 grindstones and about 8 tools for quarrying and processing, focusing on brands that change depending on the mountain and layer being quarryed, as well as brands that change depending on the color and pattern.
