Overview
Using old wood 400 years ago, we make incense boxes (kobako: boxes for storing incense trees and fragrances).
※Because it is an old material, the texture is different from each one. (The photograph of the work is an image.)
＊This workshop is an event related to The Anatomy of Tategu The Work of Traditional Japanese Joinery Revealed, an exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the opening of the Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum.
