Noriko Nakagawa, who is the eleventh generation of the long-established Meigiya "Vinegarya" that has been in Kyoto for 300 years since the Edo period, has been active as one of the few female "Megishi" after training in Gifu and Nara Yoshino, will talk about the contents of the work of Meigiya that is unique to Japan, his commitment to wood in Kyoto, the crisis of tree culture in modern times, and prospects for the future.
＊The vinegar shop is a long-established store that appeared in Ryotaro Shiba's "Ryoma Goes" as a lumber dealer who sheltered Sakamoto Ryoma during the Edo period.
