Overview
Join a workshop led by a coloring craftsman involved in the restoration of the Shrines and Temples of Nikko. You will learn to paint floral patterns using traditional techniques with mineral pigments and gold leaf.
＊This workshop is an event related to the exhibition of Revealing the mystery behind the architectural beauty of its shrines and temples The Colors and Metalwork of Nikko, a special project commemorating the registration of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage “Traditional Architecture and Craftsmanship”.
