Overview

With Yuichi Hamada at the venue, we will explore the secrets of a masterpiece chair design with specific ways to make, such as episodes when visiting Hans J. Wegner's residence in Denmark, and knowledge gained during the miniature chair production process.

Yuichi Hamada (Ha still Yoshikazu)
Furniture craftsman, president of Hamada Kobo.
Born in 1952. Born in Osaka Prefecture. After graduating from high school, he worked for a furniture manufacturer that specializes in custom-made furniture from Japanese furniture to Western furniture. After that, at the design office, which develops chairs for employment, I made a 1/5 model at the time of presentation, and started making miniatures. 1985 Established Hamada Kobo. In addition to making furniture in general, we will continue to make masterpiece chairs of 1/5 models of about 300 legs to this day. He currently lives in Yonehara City, Shiga Prefecture.
