There was a long line of demonstrations and experiences by Mr. Honjo, who leads the world of Kyo Karagami, and some customers came from Tokyo.
Even small children seemed to be able to teach carefully and enjoy it regardless of age.
(Please refer to the event report at Kobe venue for details on the process of printing paper.)

In addition, the production of postcards using Maruji's special "karakami kit", which reproduces Karagami's methods, materials and tools as realistic as possible, was also very popular. A participant boy said, "I failed many times, but in the third time I was able to do it well without slipping. The craftsman says that it's really amazing to rub large paper so that it doesn't slip with a larger woodblock! "

At the venue, there were many people who were eagerly asked about the method of Karagami, indicating the high interest in Karagami. I was able to touch the production of Karagami, which I rarely see, and the participants seemed to have enjoyed it very much. Thank you very much to Mr. Honjo and Mr. Kudo for your guidance.
