The symposium venue was attended by about 300 audiences, and the commemorative symposium was finally started with a great success that could be seen.

It started with a keynote speech by Takashi Imazato, a leading figure in modern Sukiya architecture. Looking back on modern Sukiya, focusing on the background and style of the teacher, 58 Yoshida. He introduced his own practical efforts, such as entering the mountains and examining the materials, and the importance of the site.

After the keynote speech, carpenter Akira Nishimura and Meikishi Seijiro Shimura joined, and the start of the conversation while watching the slides of Imazato's work.

Mr. Nishimura explained the various carpenters in Sukiya in an easy-to-understand manner using Imazato's work as examples.

Mr. Shimura, a famous tree teacher, talked about the difficulty of procuring materials that meet Mr. Imazato's requirements, and the fact that he overcame the difficulties and prepared materials. The venue was greatly excited by the hard talk of the materials required by Mr. Imazato.

Visitors at the venue were also amazed by the work style with the spirits from each standpoint and the friendly relationship between each other. It was a valuable symposium in which architects, carpenters, and famous wood masters who created Sukiya hit the real intentions.

At the Kobe venue for the "Sukiya Carpenter" exhibition, lectures will be held on Sunday, October 21 by Masao Nakamura, a leading expert in the design and research of Sukiya, Mitsuyoshi Saito, a carpenter of Yasui Moru Corporation, Kaichiro Sato of Sakan plasterers, and Noriko Nakagawa of Meiki.
