"Hakodate magistrate's office revived in Goryokaku-How was the restoration proceed? －」
This video introduces the progress of the construction from the start of construction to the completion of the Hako Tachi magistrate's office restoration work. We will explain miyadaiku's technology and traditional techniques such as Sakan plasterers, painting, roofing, fittings and tatami mats. We will talk about the historical background of Goryokaku and Hakodate magistrate's office, the difficulties of construction work in special historic sites, and how the restoration work is designed.

Toshiyuki KinoshitaBorn in Oita Prefecture in 1957. In 1985, he joined the Cultural Property Preservation Planning Association, and is currently a senior researcher. He was in charge of the design and management of the preservation and restoration of the Uto-yagura of the Important Cultural Property, the restoration of the Sukiya Maruni floor of Kumamoto Castle, the preservation and repair of the former Shinohara family residence of the important cultural property, and the preservation and repair of the former Kanamori Western Store designated as a road, and restoration work.Yoshihisa TsukadaBorn in Takigawa City, Hokkaido in 1949. Joined Takenaka Corporation Co., Ltd. in 1973, worked at the head office for one year and assigned to Hokkaido Branch. He is in charge of the construction of about 25 new buildings such as Asahikawa Dai-ichi Life Building, Susukino Green Hotel, Asahi Shimbun Hokkaido Branch, Hakodate Hotel Acacia.
