"Things left by Tsunekazu Nishioka ridge master"

Three Domiya ridges who have been active under the teachings of Tsunekazu Nishioka ridges are working on the background of the introduction, training, memories of Nishioka ridges, and how they work themselves under the influence of them. Mr. Naoki Tani will talk about what Domiya carpenter should do in the future.

Mitsuo Ogawa

Born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1947. At the age of 21, he entered Tsunekazu Nishioka ridge at miyadaiku of Horyuji Temple and became the only inner disciple. He served as vice-leader in rebuilding three-storied pagoda of Horin-ji Temple and temple complex of Yakushi-ji Temple. In 1977, he established a temple and shrine building company "Rikikosha" based on his own apprenticeship system. In 2007, he was selected as a 'modern master craftsman'. He has authored books such as "The Heart of Trees <ground>", "The Unmatched Assembling Woods" and "Toryo-Conveying skills and nurturing people."

Kiyonori Takebe

Born in Nishi-Asai-cho, Shiga Prefecture in 1941. At the age of 31, he saw a newspaper article related to the Kondo of Yakushi-ji Temple and was involved in the construction of the Kondo of Yakushi-ji Temple, led by Tsunekazu Nishioka. He taught carpenter technical guidance in the movie "Hoten no Castle" released in 2009. Management of Takebe Co., Ltd. While instructing the construction of shrines and temples architecture throughout the country and the preservation and repair of cultural properties, he also focuses on the development of disciples.

Kyoji Kikuchi

Born in Tono City, Iwate Prefecture in 1952. After graduating from junior high school, he began training as a carpenter for housing construction. Under the leadership of Tsunekazu Nishioka, he studied shrines and temples architecture while working on the construction of Kondo and West Pagoda at Yakushi-ji Temple. Founded shrines and temples Kosha, a shrines and temples contractor at the age of 38. His book is "Growing People in miyadaiku."

Naoki Tani

Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1948. He studied architectural history at Kyoto University. After working at the Sakai City Museum, he taught at Osaka City University since 1982. Since 2000, he has also been the director of the Konjakukan of Osaka Living (Museum of Osaka Municipal Housing). He has authored books such as "Research on the Domination of the Nakai Family Carpenters" and "Wisdom to Live in the Town-Lifestyle of the Three Upper Capitals".
