Woodwork (Toshodaiji Kondo Tou full-scale model)

The highlight exhibition this time is a full-scale model of Toshodaiji Kondo Tou, which is over 3 meters high. It was specially exhibited from the National Museum of Nature and Science to help you understand the characteristics of Domiya carpenters who handle huge wood. The production was carried out at the Rigikosha under the guidance of Tsunekazu Nishioka ridge. It is also an exhibition suitable for this year of Heijo's relocation capital 1300.

Design -Make a plan-

Today, carpenters are less likely to design, but in the past, ridges were doing all the work from design to construction. Here, we will display handwritten technical notes and drawings that have become valuable today.
