4Column: The origin of the name of Gennoku?

"A long time ago, there was a monster stone called a killer stone in Nasuno, the country of Musashi, and the birds flying on this fell, and the beasts touched this died immediately. After crushing the dead stone, this monster stopped. The larger iron hammer came to be called Gennoku," according to the Edo period magazine "Yongshu Fushi" (1686).
