Anahikinoko / one-edge, horizontal grinding

It is also called "Nosal Saw." Used for rough work such as cutting off the edge of a log. Because the teeth are Ibarame, it is also used when grinding parts diagonally. Shaku 3 to 6 inches are normal.

2.Milled saw

Hikiriko / One-edge, vertical grinding

There are three types of grinding: milling for wood grinding, carpenter grinding, and boating, each of which has different shapes. It is also called "Bukkiri". Used for a large amount of wood. Shaku 3 to 6 inches are normal.

3.Boat saw

Hanate Hikiriko / One-edge, vertical grinding

It is also called "sea bream type", "funate sea bream type", "funate", etc. Originally, it was a saw used by ship carpenters to align the joint surface of the board, but it was also used in carpentry as a substitute for sawing saws.

2 inches to 4 inches are normal.
