1.Hole saw

Anahikinoko / one blade / horizontal grinding

It is also called 'nose round saw.' It is used for rough work such as cutting off the edge of a log. Because the teeth are Ibarame, it is also used when grinding parts diagonally. Shaku 3 sun to 6 sun is normal.

2.Grinding saw

Hikiri-no-ko (one blade) / vertical grinding

There are three types of grinding: wood grinding, carpentry grinding, and boatman grinding, each with different shapes. It is also called 'Bukiri.' It is used for large portions of wood. Shaku 3 sun to 6 sun is normal.

3.Boatman saw

Funadate Hikiri noko / One blade, vertical grinding

It is also called 'sea bream type,' 'funete bream type,' 'funete bream type,' and so on. Originally, it was a saw used by ship carpenters for sliding the joint surface of the board, but in carpenters, it came to be used instead of grinding saws.

Shaku 2 sun to 4 sun is normal.
