On September 15th (Thursday), the Sapporo venue opened.
The venue is the JR Tower Prinise Hall on the 11th floor of Esta, the station building of JR Sapporo Station.
Opening hours are from 11:00 to 19:00 (entrance until 18:30) and are open during the exhibition period. Please come by all means as it is easy to stop by even if you are absent or after work.
The venue is just before getting off the elevator on the 11th floor.
To prevent infection in COVID-19, we ask all visitors to fill in the contact information and measure the temperature on the spot. You can download the contact form from the Kigumi Exhibition website, so it will be smooth if you prepare it in advance.
When you enter the venue, you will be overwhelmed by powerful large models such as a 1/2.5 scale Kintai-kyo Bridge model and a four-way model.
Please see the wisdom and ingenuity of the craftsman hidden inside the wooden group that you do not usually see. At the venue, you can see the steps to be assembled while understanding CG images.
After seeing and learning, you can actually experience the mechanism by hand. We also introduce examples of puzzles that have evolved into puzzles, so please enjoy them together.

In addition to the exhibits, hiding fittings are used. The exhibition stand is also devised, so I hope you can see the details.
Kigumi is used in various places besides architecture. In this exhibition, we introduce finger objects and Kumiko work as particularly delicate examples.
At the Sapporo venue, examples of attempts to utilize trees from the Hokkaido Timber Industry Cooperative Association and Takenaka Corporation are jointly exhibited. Please take a look at it.
