A state of cypress bark roofing

Now that there is a need to build a recycling-oriented society that coexists with nature, this exhibition focuses on roofs made of environmentally friendly grass and wood, and looks back on its traditional techniques.
What kind of material is the roof of plant materials centered on "kaya-roofing" made of grass, "hiwada-roofing" made of cypress bark, and "kokera-roofing" made of thinly divided boards. This section introduces the materials and what tools and techniques are used to roof. Materials such as thatch and cypress bark, tools for rubbing roofing materials and workshops, tools for roofing, full-size roof models will be exhibited, and videos containing craftsmen roofing roofs will be screened.
You will be able to feel the charm of the roof made of environmentally friendly plants on your skin, and will exhibit many valuable materials that you can not usually see, so please come and visit us.
