Overview

The world's reluctance is increasing, and the number of people moving across borders continues to increase. Economics and technology continue to focus on the global environment, regardless of the political situation. On the other hand, in such a situation, the local value is relatively high. The originality that can only be found in that place is the source of value in a global context. Rather than being mixed and gray, culture contributes to the rich harvest of the world by vividly raising its uniqueness. Therefore, global/local is not a synonym, but a concept that integrates and creates new value.
In Japan, we must reexamine the uniqueness of our culture, re-examine the extremely special terrain of the Japanese Islands, ruin the cultural accumulation of our existence as a country of more than a thousand years, and seek wisdom to utilize these as future resources. Under such circumstances, JAPAN HOUSE was established in London, Los Angeles and Sao Paulo as a base for disseminating Japanese cultural information. In this context, I would like to talk about how Japan will be re-examined and originated in the world.
