The splendid sculpture (Ranma) of Nagoya Castle. We will talk to Inami Sculpture Traditional Craftsman, who worked on the restoration, about the background of the restoration, the production process, hard stories, and highlights, including the basic knowledge of the sculpture column. In addition, a demonstration will be held.
*This lecture is a pre-event for the exhibition "Cave the Story of Inami Sculpture".

Iwakura Ryosen
Born in 1952 in former Inamimachi. He studied under his father Kanzai Iwakura. He specializes in deep, basket carving, and fine sculptures, and produces shrines and temples, stall sculptures, ranma, figurines sculptures, etc. Nitten, former member of the Association of Contemporary Crafts Artists, former president of the Inami Sculpture Cooperative, and former chairman of the Inami Sculpture Traditional Crafts Association.
